Chirayu Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya
Chirayu Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya is Director-General of the Crown Property Bureau. In 2016 he was appointed Lord Chamberlain of the Bureau of the Royal Household. With degrees in economics from the London School of Economics and Australian National University, Dr. Chirayu has served the Thai government as Minister of Industry and Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, as well as Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) where, currently, he serves as President of the NIDA Council. Dr. Chirayu is also Chairman of Siam Cement Public Co., Ltd. At the outset of Thailand’s campaign for sustainable development, Dr. Chirayu spearheaded efforts to incorporate principles of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in national economic and social development planning, and in 2014 he led the establishment of the Thailand Sustainable Development Foundation.
Jeffrey Beall Jeffrey Beall is an associate professor and academic librarian at the University of Colorado Denver. He is the author of Scholarly Open Access (https://scholarlyoa.com), a blog that helped researchers avoid being victimized by predatory publishers and journals and related scams. His blog was widely read and used by research scholars worldwide who wished to publish in reputable open-access publications. His blog has also been adopted by several universities as a guideline and criteria for faculty research evaluation and promotion. He has published extensively in the areas of metadata, full-text searching, and information retrieval. He previously served on the editorial board of Cataloging & Classification Quarterly, which is the only academic journal devoted to library cataloging. He received his B.A. in Spanish from California State University, Northridge, an M.A. in English from Oklahoma State University, and an M. Sc. in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
