Regular MBA Program
The Regular MBA and English MBA Programs are designed for students who recently finished their bachelor’s degree and who have limited or no work experience. The programs are designed to increase a student’s analytical ability to a level where the student is able to formulate business strategies for dynamic business environments. The professors guide the student in developing his or her ability to analyze, solve, and propose creative solutions to business problems by providing the student with a knowledge foundation in modern and ethical management skills and with an understanding in the behavioral aspects of operations. This knowledge empowers the student with the prerequisites for rapid career advancement.
The Regular Program offers four major fields of studies: finance, international business, marketing, and operations management. This program is aimed at providing students that have little or no relevant experience with business knowledge and management disciplines with the knowledge to take middle management positions in the private sector. This program also offers a dual-major option. This program is conducted partially using the Thai language. Students that plan on entering into this program must be fluent in the Thai language.

Dual Major Option
Qualified students, i.e. students in good standing, have the option to pursue up to two majors. For example, students can major in both finance and marketing. An additional 9 credits, taken in the major field (major and elective courses), in addition to the general requirements, are required to obtain a dual-major MBA degree.
To apply, students must first satisfy the requirements of the Educational Services Division (see below). Qualified applicants must then pass the NIDA English proficiency exam and business aptitude exam. Qualified applicants can also use TOEFL and GMAT scores (taken within the last two years from the date of interview) in place of the NIDA exams as follows:
>>TOEFL score of at least 500 (paper-based test) or 213 (computer-based test) can be substituted for the score in English of 550.
>>GMAT score of at least 450 can be substituted for the score in business administration subject of 550.
Exam scores are not the sole determinants of whether or not a student will be accepted into the program. Qualified applicants who pass the NIDA exams, above, or are exempt, are selected based on their score from an interview (50%) and on their background (50%).The interview assesses an applicant’s personality, attitude, and readiness (preparation) for the program. An applicant’s achivements, academic record, and potential to advance to upper management is used for calculating the background score. (Note: Qualified applicants with a bachelor’s degree with honors in any field are exempt from taking the written exams. They only need to be interviewed.)
For admission to any of the MBA programs the student must :
1) satisfy the requirements of the NIDA Education Service Division (ESD)
a. have graduated or will graduate with at least a bachelor’s degree before studies commence (the degree must be from a government approved university).
b. submit a health certificate and meet or exceed a health condition and mental state specified by ESD.
2) satisfy individual MBA program requirements as specified by the program the applicant is applying to.
